Can Primolut N Help In Delaying Menstrual Bleeding?
Question: Hi Doctor,
My wife trying to conceive from last 3 months but there are no positive result so for. We haven't reached out to any Gynecologist as we wanted to try from sometime. What should you suggest now, should we reach out to the doctor now.
Also we are planning for trip in next 2 days and her periods was due last week , we did the pregnancy test and results were negative. Can she take Primolut N to delay the period, is that going to effect the concieve

A couple should try to conceive naturally without medication for at least one year before consulting for infertility or inability to conceive.
This is so because the chances of pregnancy in each menstrual cycle is 20-25%, so if a couple is unable to conceive even after one year of unprotected intercourse, then it should go for the investigations and treatment of infertility.
Primulet delays the period, but it is not advisable to be taken if one is trying to conceive as it has the risk of causing adverse effects on the fetus, if taken in early pregnancy.
