Can Primolut N Help In Delaying Menstruation?
Question: I wish to delay my period for about 2-3 days by using Primolut N as I have to go away on a holiday. My period is very regular and it actually starts right on the day I leave. So i'm just wondering is it possible for me to delay it for about 2-3 days only so I don't have to have it while I catch a plane. Also I read after I stop the medicine my period will come 2-3 days later so i'm just wondering will my period be normal or will it be very heavy and be very prolonged compared to my normal period? Thank you!

You can take norethisterone tablets for delaying your periods.
It is to be started 3 days prior to your expected period date and continued till you want to delay your periods.
On stopping it you will get periods in 3-5 days.
But it is a prescription drug available only on prescription so you will need to visit your gynecologist for the same.
I usually give it 10 mg at night till you want to delay periods.
The period following it will be more or less normal only so no risk of excessive bleeding
