Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Earlier it was postulated that FNH ( focal nodular hyperplasia ) was related to the intake of combined oral contraceptives ( estrogen content was particularly implicated ).
Latest studies have negated this corelation.
In short, the latest evidence clearly states that both Combined oral contraceptives and Progesterone only pill ( COCs and POPs ) are both safe for use in women with FNH.
I am attaching two latest studies which will give you a clear idea that this is so, and thus, hopefully , will reassure you -

Thus you can continue using your COC is you are comfortable , there is no need to switch over to the XXXXXXX pill.
All the best
PLease feel free to discuss further.

Thank you so much for your response! When I had stopped the COC, the FNH shrunk so they will not let me back on that but hopefully I can start this and all will be ok! XXXXXXX
