Question : Hello, I had been on regestrone from 20th May to 1st XXXXXXX to delay periods. Later, I had participated in unprotected sex. Will it be better to consume Ipill to avoid pregnancy. I was in little confusion that, though i stopped regestrone were there any chances of interaction of both the drugs..?

                                    Brief Answer:
You should consume I-pill.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
Regesterone is a progesterone and used to delayed menses, it can not be used as an emergency contraception and it will not prevent pregnancy.
So better if you had unprotected sex, you should go for I-pill to prevent pregnancy.
If you already stop regesterone than there is no interaction of the pills but it may cause hormonal imbalance.
Hope it is useful, feel free to assk more questions.
Good luck.
Regards

Hi, as per earlier suggestion i consumed i pill. Stopped Regestrone on 01-Jun-2015. Expected date of bleeding was in between 06-Jun-2015 to 08-Jun-2015 as i.e., with in 5 to 7 days. But as of today i did not get menses. I am confused whether i would be pregnant or will it take further more days to bleed. Kindly suggest me, what precautions to be taken to avoid pregnancy..?

                                    Brief Answer:
You should wait for your period.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Sorry for the delay in my response.
Your period maybe delayed due to hormonal imbalance cause by I-pill and registerone.
So you should wait and watch for your menses.
And do not take any stress,it is your delayed period not due to pregnancy.
Hope it is useful.
Good luck.

                                    Hi,
Thanks for your answer.
I got periods on 10-Jun-2015. But, it was only for half-a-day on 10-Jun-2015 and there was no bleeding since then. Every time, i have regular menses of 4 days continuously. This time it was totally a different scenario. I guess it might be due to hormonal imbalances but half-a-day bleeding was making little tensed to me. Would you please suggest what could be the reason for this half-a-day bleeding and what type of treatment i would prefer to make my menses corrected?

                                    Brief Answer:
It can be due to withdrawal bleeding.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
You are most welcome.
This bleeding can be due to withdrawal bleeding caused by unwanted-72( a side effect of unwanted -72).
This is not your period and it can occur due to hormonal imbalance.
So do not take any stress and wait for your menses.
Hope it is useful.
Good luck.

I have one more concern. When can i expect actual menses. I stopped regestrone on 1-Jun-2015 and consumed M-Pill on 03-Jun-2015. Almost today is 13-Jun-2015. I was more and more tensed whether there are chances of pregnancy. If so when can i do pregnancy confirmation test and what should be done to terminate it..
Kindly suggest

Wait and watch for your menses.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
You are most welcome.
The chances of pregnancy are not there in your case,as you had I-pill with in time.
You should wait and watch for your menses for one week.
But if you will not resume your period after that, you should go and get your pregnancy test done to rule out pregnancy.
Hope it is useful.
Good luck.
