Question : hi, my wife was diagnosed with ITP ( Idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura). She was given Omnacortil 60 and Revolade (GSK) - http://www XXXXXXX ca/yyyyyy/docs-pdf/yyyyyy/Revolade.pdf
Her Platelet count increased over 4 weeks to 396000 from 1000. Her doc has reduced the dosage to Omnacortil 20mg gradually but is continuing with Revolade.
She has been experiencing spinning head for a week now. Is it normal ? (impact of Steroid ?)
Is her treatment in the right direction ? How long would she need to continue on steroids ?
Her Bone Marrow biopsy was normal.
