Question: Can I take Rexavar while taking epitol? I have been taking epitol for almost fouryears now, this is suppose to be a natural suppliment for erctile disfunction and help with size and low testosterone and i am nervous to take anything else with this medication, i know that the medication causes low testosterone and i can definetly tell a diffrence since i started on the medication. I have been seizure-less for as long as iv been aking the medication. I've taking the rexavar before for a few weeks and could tell a diffrence but i didnt know if what i was feeling was a good or bad feeling. This stuff is supose to be the only thing out there that works but i dont want to enduce a seizure . keep in mind i havent had a siezure for four years this month

Brief Answer:
There should be no interaction.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your query and understand your concerns.

Rexavar is promoted to have only natural ingredients, so logically there should not be an interaction between Rexavar and Epitol ( carbamazepine).

There are no studies yet that may confirm or decline this interaction.

If Rexavar contains testosterone, there is an interaction between carbamazepine and testosterone.

Testosterone increases toxicity of carbamazepine by decreasing metabolism.

If no, then most probably there is bo interaction.

In my opinion, you could use both Rexavar and Epitol, but there's need to monitor closely seizures and blood levels of Epitol.

Hope this helps. I remain at your disposal for further questions and clarifications.

Best regards.

So if it frees unused testosterone, and testosterone makes the medication more potent, will it cause me to over dose on the medication I'm already taking? I've been taking 800 mlg a day for four years now.

Brief Answer:
Follow up needed.

Detailed Answer:
Welcome back.

Studies show interaction between Testosterone and Epitol in the way that testosterone increases toxicity of carbamazepine (Epitol), but this is studied only in cases where additional testosterone is given, not the normal levels of testosterone found in every person.

Anyway, follow up clinically and by testing blood levels of carbamazepine is needed in this process.

Hope I helped you.

Take care.
