Question : hello i am on 2mg of risperdol which i take at night. now i take vyvanse 20mg in the morning is this a good or bad mix?i haven't told either of my doctors yet. one is giving me risperdol and the other has prescribed vyvanse thank you

You are a 19 years old healthy male and are taking Risperidone 2 mg in night and Vyvanse (Lisdexamphetamine) 20 mg in morning. Risperidone is an antipsychotic drug and Vyvanse is amphetamine stimulant drug.

These both drugs can be used simultaneously without any risk of serious side effects. In fact some studies has found that Risperidone increases stimulant effect of Vyvanse. Over all both drugs are safe. Both drugs are used simultaneously in ADD disorder.

So taking two drugs together is safe, but I would advise you to inform your doctors about both drugs as this will help them in judging drug effectiveness.
