Question : Hello
I am taking cyclobenzaprine to help a neck injury. I have a cough and took robitussin and only read the label afterwards and it doesn't seem the two should go together. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
you can take them together

Detailed Answer:
Hi I am Dr Gopal Goel , Orthopedic Surgeon.
Robitussin contains Dextromethorphan , a cough sedative and Cyclobenzaprine is a muscle relaxant.
They do potentiate the action of each other , both act on central nervous system.
They can be taken together , only significant side effect would be increased drowsiness. SO do not do any heavy machinery work or driving when giving these medicines.
I hope I have answered your questions, Please feel free to ask any further question.
