Posted on Thu, 2 Jun 2016
Question: I've lost my virginity two days ago and had sex one more time since than. We had contact without a condom however he didn't cum inside me nor near my vagina and also as far as I could tell his penis was fine and did not have any bruises. I am not experiencing any pain or unusual reaction, however am just wandering if I should be concerned about our contact without a condom?

Brief Answer:
No risk of pregnancy, but risk for STD if your partner has had sex before.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you using HCM to post your question.

The risk of getting sexually transmitted infections while having sexual relationship without a condom is low, but still there if your partner has had other sexual partners before. The symptoms start after 7-10 days of the contact. Ask your partner about it and if he has been checked after the last partner he had. If he says yes, then no need to worry about.

If you start having symptoms like discharge, itchiness, bad odor or pain during intercourse, then you need to do STD testing for chlamydia and gonorrhea and syphilis and HIV.

There is no risk for pregnancy if there has been no ejaculation inside.

Keep in mind to use condom, because it will protect you.

Hope this is helpful.

Take care.

So after we had sex for the first time (Sunday night) I had a lot of blood on my underwear. I put a pad on and in the morning there was just a little bit there (like an end of a period). When we had sex again that other day (Monday night) there was blood when he went inside me for the first time but I wiped it off and had no blood since. However when I woke up this morning as I went to the toilet and wiped myself I noticed a small portion of blood just came out. Also during this whole time I had a bit of orange/pink discharge from time to time (I've been having yellow discharge for a longer time before having sex or any contact there) Is this normal or should I be worried?

Brief Answer:
If it continues you may need a gynecological and rectal exam.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking a follow up question.

From your description seems like you will need a gynecological and rectal exam. It is likely may have had the blood from the hymen rupture, but in general it is not in this amount.

The blood may come from hemorrhoids most probably or it may come from any lesion in your vagina or vulva. Only a close examination can tell for sure what is causing the blood.

Consider a urine analysis as well to check if its coming from urine

Symptoms from STIs have not reached yet the time when they give appear, but if you have any of those symptoms mentioned above then let me know.

Hope this is helpful.
