Question : I had vaginal and oral sex with a new sex partner. A condom was utilized but there a fair amount of direct contact (rubbing) between the head of my penis and the clitoral region and also about 8 penetrative thrust without a condom. This occurred on Monday morning. I have experienced the following symptoms. On Monday there was irritation on the right bottom rim of the head of my penis. It was as if the skin had been chafed and was red and raw. It was only a line on the rim. The line was probably 2 cm long and 2 mm wide. On Tuesday I checked inside my urethra and very close to the tip I saw red dots, 2 on the left urethral wall. It also seemed that a very small and vague white surface dot could be observed pimple on the other side with a 1 mm diameter head. On Wednesday I checked again and I saw nothing, the marks disappeared. Thursday and Friday a similar situation was observed red and very small white heads (1 mm) but it receded. Saturday I noticed two small white heads in the morning on the left side of my urethra. Internal but towards the tip of my penis. By the end of the day they had grown to maybe 3 and 5 mm white heads. Currently, Sunday Morning, the white bumps receded again and can't be noticed. I have had no pain when I urinate or any other symptoms. Currently I am in Recife, Brazil and plan to get medical attention here but would like some guidance as to what testing to procure, especially since the language barrier can add confusion. Thank you for the assistance.

Brief Answer:
Get tested for STD

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably you have developed an allergic reaction as you developed symptoms immediately.
Any infection would have taken time to set in and would have progressed with time.
Probably your partner would have applied any substance to which you are allergic or this can be condom allergy.
Although the risk is minimum but it is always better to get tested for sexually transmitted diseases.
Get the following tests done.
1. Grams stain
2. VDRL
3. HIV
4. HbsAg
5. Anti HCV
If you have itch you can use a mild steroid cream like cortisone.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.

Thank you for the reply.

The raw redness on the rim of the Corona healed after about 3 days. It seems normal and looks to have healed completely.

I am more concerned about the white heads/pimples (seem like pustules) that appear and disappear from the inside tip of the urethra. They appear and disappear very quickly within 12 to 24 hours.

Could you comment on what STDs exhibit symptoms like that?

Also could you expand on what you stated regarding allergy to the condom to a substance from the partner ? What could be causing that?

Brief Answer:
Recurrent pustules can be seen in allergic condition.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up.
Recurrent pustules can be seen in allergic condition.
The other probable diagnosis would be herpes hence I asked you to get tested.
STD presents with ulceration which progresses.
Usually the symptoms appear after an incubation period of a week in STD.
By substance I mean any perfume or lubricant your partner might have used.
Condoms are made of latex which can cause allergy.
If possible upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you
