Can Seroflo Inhaler Be Used For A Long Duration?

Question: Sir,I am using sereflo rotocaps 250 mg with rotahaler whenever breathlessness comes due to bronchitis under guidance of pulmonologist for past five years.I am not using daily regularly.Can I use it daily irrespective of breathlessness or should I use only when breathlessness comes?Is this a steroid?Will there be any side effect?I am also using tablet for high blood pressure daily.

Seroflo is having salmeterol and fluticasone. Salmeterol is long acting beta 2 agonist (LABA). Fluticasone is ICS.
ICS are safe for long term use as it is locally (directly on lungs) acting without going to systemic circulation. So minimal side effects are seen with ICS and hence, they are safe.
So no need to worry for long term use with seroflo.
In my opinion, you should take seroflo 125 daily, irrespective of breathlessness.
