Question : I'm taking metoprolol & atorvistatin regularly. Is it safe to take valerian root, St. John's wort & l- tryptophan with these drugs? Thank you much!
Brief Answer:
Do not take St. John's wort concomitantly!
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks for reaching to us at healthcare magic.
I have reviewed this information fully. St John's wort is the standout and interacts with almost all other drugs. I will suggest you drop this and take others. It is safe taking the others together without it.
In all, metoprolol, atorvastatin, valerian root and tryptophan can be taken together without any fears.
I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me as you please.
