                                    Brief Answer:
Except of valve disease, tamsulosine may cause these symtpoms.
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back!
As you confirmed he has problems with the valves but if the cardiologist said that is not as severe as to cause these symptoms other probable causes should be excluded. For eg. one of the most common side effects of tamsulosin is dizziness and fainting. Do these symptoms correlate with starting of the tamsulosin? If yes you should report it to the physician who started it.
Other probable causes may be a chronic complication of Diabetes such as autnomic neuropathy that may cause hypotension or adrenal insufficiency.
But let's exclude first the tamsulosine side effects.
It will be a pleasure to communicate again.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
