Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome on HCM!

Regarding the combination of Tekturna (Aliskiren) and Triamterene there exists a possibility of an increased risk of hyperkalemia, because both drugs may lead to potassium retention within the body potentiating the risk for clinica lhyperkalemia.

Nevertheless, in daily practice, this adverse interaction has not been shown and no clear contraindications for their concomitant use exist.

You need to discuss with your prescribing doctor on the possibility of a safer alternative if it's possible.

Hope to have been helpful to you!
