Brief Answer:
All routes available, Administration depends on cause

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. Thiamine is vitamin B 1 and is available in all the forms. Skin test allergy does not affect oral intake so the safest and wisest approach of taking thiamine would be oral B complex multivitamins.

If there is alcoholic history long term or wernicke korsakoff syndrome secondary to alcohol then one can think of thiamine but that too for short duration of 3 days to 7 days of 1 gm to 500 gram twice or thrice a day. After this life long oral intake is advised and followed up.

Just talk to your internist and let them decide what is best for you.

I hope it helps. take good care o yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Khan
