Brief Answer:
Tramadol is used as a last resort only.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic forum.
I am Dr Aslam here to help you.
Are you given rizatriptan alone?or with some other analgesics?
Rizatriptan can be repeated up to 3times in 24 hours.tramadol is an opiod analgesic, and is used only as a last resort when other analgesics like paracetamol and NSAIDs are failed. It also needs to consider any other drugs you are on,and any medical illnesses you are having, before going for tramadol. You can try analgesics like ibuprofen or piroxicam (hope not allergic) for temporary relief.
In such cases, I ask my patients to take analgesics like NSAIDS along with antimigraine drugs like flunarizine regularly for about 5days.your doctor will guide you.
Meanwhile, try to sleep for some time in a calm dark room, free from noises.it might help a lot.
