Hi,
As you are allergic to something you can take Benadryl as it is a good antiallergic drug.
But it has sedative potential and it should not be taken together with other sedatives.
Do not take triazolam until you are taking benadryl.
As a rule excess sedative drugs are avoided in elderly.
Benadryl will also induce sleep.
