Question : I’m 54 and I went to the hospital they told me I had a uti. My systems are pain in both legs, unable to walk, short term memory lost, no appetite, I have had two falls and my left leg is black and blue.

Hello,

Many of your symptoms point to a chronic (long-term) disease process.

The possibility of an underlying brain or spine disease is high in your case considering your symptoms.

UTI (urinary tract infection) is usually an acute event along chronic UTI is also possible. But unlike other organ involvement, the possibility of a systemic upset is rare with chronic or acute UTI.

Hence it's advisable to screen yourself additionally for other conditions through appropriate tests like MRI brain, Serum Electrolytes, Vitamin B12 levels and ultrasound Abdomen to determine further course of action.
