Question : I am on prednisone and antibiotics for strep throat and developed cold sores on my lips. can I take Valtrex at the same time

Dr stated she was concerned my throat was really swollen. I just took day day 4 of the pack. Thank you for the quick reply.

I see. We usually prescribe corticosteroids when the patient's airway is in danger. I suppose this had to be the reason.
