Question : Hi, I'm XXXXXXX I had a fracture at my 5th metatarsal 5weeks ago. I was using cast all these days. Now the cast is removed. I'm foot is swelled a lot and still it pains if I try to walk normally. Please suggest if this is the normal pain we get after the removal of cast.

I got X-ray done, the bone is totally healed. But swelling and little pain while walking.

Can we use volini spray to reduce pain???

I have studied your case and I think your symptoms are completely normal. Some pain and swelling may be there for 3 weeks more. It is because fracture is still in healing phase and complete healing takes 3 and half months.
You can apply hot water fomentation and crape bandage. Volini gel will be better then spray.
