A balanced diet is better
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your question.
I read carefully your question.
The best way to lose weight is to combine carbs (50%), proteins (30%) and fat (20%). Of course the carbs is better to be good carbs like the ones if fruits and vegetables, and the fats the ones in avocado, vegetable oils, ect.
Starches have fibers and that keeps you full longer. But proteins are good for your skin, hair and general wellbeing, and also keep you full for longer then fibers.
At the end of day, losing weight in a healthy way, is best to have a combined diet, by making sure that the calorie intake is not higher than the calories you consume.
Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
