                                            Question : Hi can a  miscarriage tissue biopsy that was removed by surgical management  thats being checked for molar pregnancy  from a 2/3 week pregnancy show if the mother has hsv2 on the biopsy results

hsv2 cannot be detected on HPE.

It is not possible to detect herpes on histopathologic examination of the molar pregnancy tissue removed by surgical evacuation. It can be detected only by blood test for hsv 2 igG and IgM antibodies testing.
