I am so sorry to hear about this tooth infection. The sinuses are very close to the teeth and allow for easy infection spread especially not well managed. The preferred antibiotics are those against anaerobes such as metronidazole/rovamycine. Penicillins are not the primary drugs for tooth infection. There are powerful pain medications but you will need to get a script from your doctor for this. I will suggest you add 1000mg of Tylenol every six hours for better and more effective pain control before you get to see a doctor.
