Question : Can a scan diagnostic. diastasis recto? Ct, mri, etc?
Brief Answer:
Diastasis recti is confirmed by CT Scan
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Rectus Abdominis is a muscle of the abdominal wall.It is present on either side of midline of the body.If the distance between these two muscles on either side is 2.7cms or more,it is called Diastasis recti.
It can be diagnosed clinically.Ultrasound Abdomen will give a clue.
But,CT Scan will confirm the diagnosis.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions,I will clarify further
Wish you good health
