Question: HOW INFECTIOUS IS VAGINAL FLUID?

Can a sexual partner get an std or sti from direct contact of vaginal fluid? If there is no penetration between penis and vagina can a woman still spread a disease through her vaginal fluids making direct contact with a penis? And how effective is washing this fluid off the penis directly after this event occurred? Thank you.

Brief Answer:
it can be infectious

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
The vaginal fluid can transmit the infections just by contact if the female is having an infection.
Although the chances are more with intercourse.
Washing with soap and water should be done but is no surety for preventing acquisition of infection.
The reason is that majority of pathogens bind to cell receptor and are not flushed.
I hope that the advise will be helpful for you.
