Question : Is it possible for a tooth to have more than one filling and still be saved?
Brief Answer:
Yes, it could be saved but only strength reduces
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for writing in.
It is not important how many fillings are done in same tooth, rather what matters is how the filling is done & its strength.
If tooth is RCT treated its better to go for capping rather than filling. In case tooth is non- rct treated it could be treated by filling only.Choice of material for filling depends on size & location of cavity.
Visit your dentist for further treatment plan.
Hope I answered your query
Wishing you good health
