Question : I want to ease my mind by having this explained to me and verifying that I'm not pregnant despite possibly related symptoms: after having sex on August 16th I took multiple urine and blood tests that came out negative. If I went for a transabdominal and transvaginal ultrasound that my doctor ordered for "pelvic pain" on December 14th, would that have detected pregnancy? Can I rule out pregnancy if he said everything was normal, or is it possible my doctor was not looking for pregnancy and could have missed it?
Brief Answer:
Yes,it is ruled out.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
If your pelvic ultrasound showed everything is normal then pregnancy is ruled out and you are not pregnant.
But before giving my opinion I would like to ask a few questions.
Have you ever missed your period after sex?
That sex was unprotected?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Good luck.
Regards

I have had withdrawal bleeding every month but because of the pill it's not a "true" period. I had just started the pill 2 weeks prior to having sex. We did not use a conrom but withdrawal was used instead. The pill was started randomly so I'm not sure if I was actually protected or not. What is your opinion?
The bleeding has been random and different in length and heaviness too.

Brief Answer:
You may not get pregnant.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for your answer.
In my opinion most likely you are not pregnant.
As your pregnancy tests were negative and you are on pills.
But as you are not taking your pills regularly ( means on time),so you can go for ultrasound pelvis to rule out pregnancy and find out the cause of pelvic pain.
Hope found useful.
Good luck.
