Question : Over the past week I have developed a frequent need to urinate and I'm passing tissue as well. A few years ago I was diagnosed with adenomyosis. 3 weeks ago I began taking cross fit classes. I'm wondering if this is all related.

Hello
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern .
What is your age.
Are your menstrual cycles regular.
Increased frequency of urination in the absence of itching or pain could be just due to increased water intake.
Only if there is burning or pain during urination, should you suspect a UTI and get urine routine microscopy test done.
What kind of tissues are you passing exactly?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care

Thank you for the quick response. Im 44 and my periods are fairly regular, although i always have excessive clotting. I finished my period last tuesday and have also had a lot of clear odorless discharge since. I just took an otc UTI test abd it was positive for nitrates. How should i proceed?

Hello.
this could be the beginning of a urinary tract infection.
Take two to three citro soda sachets for a few days.
Also at least 3-4 litres of fluids and include cranberry juice too.
Symptoms should improve, but should they worsen, please take a formal lab test.
avoid unprotected sex till this clears.
Take care
