Question : hello! Can ambien cause temporary high AST in a non fasting blood draw? Everything else in my CMP was normal. Thanks!

yes ambien (zolpidem) can lead to liver damage that is why it can cause increased level of AST.
But this liver damage is only temporary and improves on its own after stopping the drug.
