Question : Can an abdominal pelvis ct scan with iv contrast detect any breast abnormalities if any?
Brief Answer:
no
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for the question,
An abdominal and pelvic CT scan would not show any images of the breasts. Breast tissue would show up in a Chest CT scan. If you are having concerns about the breasts then getting a mammogram may be a good idea. See your doctor for recommendations.
An abdominal and pelvic CT would show the stomach, intestines, liver, gallbladder, spleen, uterus, ovaries and bladder as well as any masses in the abdominal cavity.
