Question : My mother-In-Law is suffering from a rare lung cancer that only 1/100,000 get. She has a history of pneumonia and I have a link that the cancer that she has is because the cancer prevents the lungs from removing the moisture that they collect. How can this be prevented? She is only 65yrs old, now weighs 98lbs, and is a non-smoker.

hello dear. she requires evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. I understand your concern. I would like to review her reports. An obstructive lung lesion can produce pnuemonia and it is a common finding. It can be prevented only by treating the cancer and antibiotic support. Thanks anf regards

is it possible that her sinus gland be larger than normal to cause her lungs to constantly fill her lungs w/fluid?

                                    Brief Answer:
It is not possible.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
I don't understand what is meant by a sinus gland. Fluid in a case of cancer lung can be either due to infection or may be due to cancer itself. It can however be treated.
Thanks and regards
