Brief Answer:
Information on anemia.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

No, nose bleeds are not a symptom of anemia, but any bleeding in the body, if it is either large enough or goes on for a long time, can cause anemia.

Common symptoms of anemia include feeling fatigues and low energy, looking pale, feeling light headed, and sometimes a fast heart rate and shortness of breath, especially with exertion.

There are types of anemia, usually genetic (inherited) that cause a problem with having enough of certain clotting factors, and in this case, a person would be more prone to bleeding, and so nose bleeds might be possible. But this would be a rare type of disorder. Most causes of anemia are iron deficiency, from inadequate iron sources of food, or from loss of blood.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can be of further help.
