Question : I have had menstrual issues since July, I have had two D&Cs and needed a blood transfusion. Since September, my heart beat has been irregular. I have always had anxiety problems and now have anemia. Could these be the reasons behind my irregular heartbeat? It seems to skip beats.

Anemia is likely to be the reason for this variation of heartbeat. Please get your hemoglobin levels checked. If hemoglobin levels are less than 10 I suggest you go ahead with iron tablets supplements.

Also get ECG to check heart.
