* Pain killers such Advil
* Cymbalta used as an antidepressant it is also approved to treat chronic pain, including osteoarthritis pain.
more invasive procedures that your doctor can perform
* Injections of corticosteroid medications may relieve pain in your joint.
*Injections of hyaluronic acid may offer pain relief by providing some cushioning in joint
* If osteoarthritis has damaged one side of joint more than the other, an osteotomy might be helpful.
*joint replacement by prothesis
