Can Bilateral Inguinal Hernias Cause Pelvic Pain?
Question: Good Morning,
Curious to know what front/anterior right pelvic stinging pain could indicate, or if it is related to the bilateral inguinal hernias that I have?
I was told that I had blood in my urine weeks ago, when the hernias were found (via CT scan) and was given antibiotics. Now, some time later, the right side pelvic stinging pain has come back (to which is comes and goes). I just hope it isn't something serious with my bladder or prostate, but I assume the CT scan would've shown that.

The stinging pain that you describe, and from the picture that you posted correlate with the pain that an inguinal hernia would provoke in an individual.
If there was anything serious with your bladder or prostate, first you would not feel pain in that region, but as you mentioned it would have shown in the CT reports and in the urine tests that you have performed.
In your case, please remember not to lift heavy weights, because it would worsen the symptoms of a bilateral hernia. Also, as a surgeon, I recommend doing the surgery to repair a bilateral hernia.
You are a young, and with the passing of years, the hernias will get bigger and bigger and at some point in your life, one of these hernias might get incarcerated and in this case, it would be an emergency. Don't worry, with timely surgical intervention you'd be fine.
