Brief Answer:
I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

I would explain that calcium supplements and vitamin D when taken orally, are OK and are not contraindicated when taken concomitantly with a calcium channel blocker.

Only intravenous calcium is not recommended when taken with a calcium channel blocker, because of possible interactions.

Anyway, I would recommend you to monitor your blood pressure values while taking calcium supplements concomitantly with Verelan.

If your blood pressure values increase (which means that Verelan effects are lowered by calcium), you should discuss with your doctor on the possibility of switching to another anti-hypertensive drug (for example valsartan, lisinopril, etc.).

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
