Question : Hi doctor, hope you are doing good.

As discussed with you, my father underwent thorcotomy & lobectomy surgery for Leiomyosaracoma of right lung on January 20. And he was advised with chemotherapy further with ifosfamide & adreamycin.

We are planning to start chemo treatment from march 20, I.e after 2 months of surgery. Is that fine or is it making treatment late and doors any bad?

Thank you,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
it should be okay

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for followup.

Though it is 2 months from surgery, it is just about ok and should not be a problem. By that I mean that the benefits of chemo will be obtained in all likelihood.

However, March 20 is still quite some time away and if feasible start it bit early.

Regards
