Question : I experimented with cocaine in my twenties so I know what it does. but i never use today. im 53. I recently scheduled a colonoscopy. I person told me cocaine might curb my appetite so as to make the prep day easier... does coke interfere with any of the drugs, sedation. or anything else utilized during a colonoscopy?

Cocaine could significantly interfere with this procedure. It can cause cardiac arrhythmia which coupled with the anesthetic significantly increases your chances of dying during an otherwise very safe procedure. Don't worry about your appetite -- the risks of cocaine FAR outweigh any potential benefit. It isn't worth risking your life.
