Brief Answer:
COconut oil can be used but in limits .

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. benefits of coconut oils are yet to be approved by FDA but in daily use yes you can use it . Coconut oil has good mixture of short and medium chain fatty acids and less saturated fats compared to other oils and can be used as a source of food instead of other oils.

As far as its interaction with the diseases like diabetes and prostate or COPD problem. There is no clear cut interaction to worry about. How ever its use in excess should be avoided and should be used as per need basis as its oil after all and excess of every thing is bad.

Nutshell, its alright to use coconut oil in adequate range and has no worrisome interactions or sequelae.

I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
