Can Degenerative Myopia Stabilize After Remaining Unchanged For 12 Years?

Question : inhave degerative myopia bilateral and its been stable for 12 years now at -12. is it possblw for it to have stopped progressing?

Though I have not been able to ascertain your age in details supplied by you I can presume it to be at least late 20s or early 30s.
If a myopia is stable for 12 years we can safely presume it is non progressive and stable. We need regular follow up, including yearly retinal examination especially peripheral retina to be examined by indirect ophthalmoscopy and I want you to keep a record of findings so that any change, if there can be monitored.
