Brief Answer:
Dress warm for now and let's monitor. Not diabetes!!!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thanks so much for this query.

This is not a sign of diabetes. For this to be related to diabetes, you must have had poorly managed diabetes for several years as this is a complication and rarely a revealing symptom.

Environmental changes are often the first cause. I will encourage you to dress warm and avoid exposing these extremities to open air and cold weather. Also, observe the extremities to see if there are any skin changes during the cold moments.

I am here and willing to respond to more details or worries that you may have. I wish you well.
