Can Drinking Tea Cause Abnormalities In The Fetus?

Question: I have a question, my niece took some type of tea she wanted to abbort which she reggreted later on.. now at almost time ti give birth she is gonna have C-section next Friday.. just two weeks ago, her OB/GYN find out on the last sonogram or he didn't saw one of the baby's arm... is something that we don't understand because on the last ones he was full developed looked like he was a strong healthy baby. I told her might be a mistake and he probably is hiding his little aem somewhere on his little body. my question is, the tea she took at the beginning might have something to do with it. XXXXXXX there a probability that the baby might not come out right because of I t?

I understand your concerns.

Tea she took may not have made much difference. That is not reason for any of these abnormalities.

It is difficult to visualise all parts of baby at this stage of pregnancy. Hence arm might have been missed out during examination by ultrasound scan.
