Can Eye Pressure Test With A Puff Test - And It Showed 15 In One Eye And 18?
Question: Hello Doctor
I have always been a little sensitive to light - and that is maybe because I work at lot in-front of a screen.
I have seen some eye floaters for couple of years when looking at something bright - like in snow, white screen or skies.
2 weeks ago my eyes got very tired - after having using smartphone screen and working with graphic a lot - and I started to notice my eye floaters all the time - seem to be worse when I'm tired.
I'm health concerned; after reading a lot of crazy stories on the internet. Some say eye floaters are just normal part of ageing and some say it can be sign of retina detachment and so on. I just ordered an eye exam with an optician - and she say everything look normal and my eyes haven't change much since 2015 - From 0.00 - + 0.25 - I haven't used glasses.
I did order a prescription glasses with bluelight blocker - so maybe it will help me with the tired eyes.
I have attached the fundus image and just want a second opinion on how everything looks ?
don't make me more scared :)
She also made eye pressure test with a puff test - and it showed 15 in one eye and 18 in the other.
Is this ok ?

Brief Answer:
If retina is okay then everything should be ok
Detailed Answer:
Hey thanks for the question . Excessive screen time can cause tiredness and dryness of eyes and taking frequent breaks in between and using lubricating eye drops helps . Floaters are due to break up fo the gel
behind the eye and are usually harmless . Only in a minority they are due to a retinal hole and can lead to detachment but as you mentioned your retina has been checked and is normal so we dont need to worry. Hope it helps . Regards
