Question : I have been vaccinated and boosted against Covid although it has been 10 months since my booster. I have tickets for an indoor concert tomorrow in XXXXXXX Oregon where the occurrence of Covid is low right now. My doctor is telling me if I wear an N 95 or KN 94 it should be fine, I have a mild immune deficiency and Hashimoto's and Sjogren's, what would you advise at this time regarding Covid and being safe?

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history you had taken Covid booster dose 10 months back. Usually the effectiveness of Covid booster vaccine after nine months is only about 13 to 15%.

So I would suggest you to do Covid antibody test and Covid vaccine immunity test After physician consultation but these test not specific or confirmative.

Usually in immuno compromised cases, second booster dose is advised but it depends upon the vaccine you have taken and your physician opinion.

Along with that, kindly use N 95 mask. Kindly sanitise your hand regularly and keep at least 6 feet distance from others. Avoid closed ventilation. If you have any Covid like symptoms, then kindly to the test.
