Can Height Be Increased After The Age Of 45?

Question: Hello Dr,
I am 45 years of age, healthy female and my height is approx 1.58m tall.
I have commenced a fitness regime comprising of walking, swimming and general yoga exercises.
Is it possible to increase my height by approximately 3 cm by stretching.

Hello,
I read your question and I appreciate that you are doing exercises for fitness. But as far as increasing height by exercise or physiotherapy is concerned I do not think it is possible. Once we achieved 20 to 21 years of age, our growing end of bone fuses and then increase in height is not possible.
