Can Hemorrhoids Cause Blood Discharge During Urination?

Information...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Hemorrhoids can cause bleeding but usually when a person has a bowel movement or strains to have a bowel movement, not with urination typically. And usually, if there is bleeding from hemorrhoid, there is a feeling of irritation there too.
The hemorrhoid that is bleeding usually causes some blood on the toilet paper when wiping after a bowel movement rather than after urinating. I will assume you are sure the blood came out of your rectum rather than from the vagina.
If you know that the blood came from the rectum and not from the vagina, I recommend going in to be seen by a doctor as this is not normal. Possible causes, if it came from the rectum, could be inflammatory bowel, a rectal fissure (tear), and possibly an ulcer, but usually, with an ulcer, the blood is black and tarry, because the stomach acid turns it black. But if a stomach ulcer is bleeding briskly, it can be bright red.
If there is a possibility this could have been from the vagina, go in to see your doctor or call him/her tomorrow.
If this blood was definitely passed from the rectum, go into the ER tonight.
Hope I have answered your query.
Regards,
