Brief Answer:
Yes, this is a hemorrhoid.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Yes, it looks like a hemorrhoid. It is small and can be left alone. No need to have any surgery.
If you want to improve it or avoid its progression, please try this steps:
- add fiber to your diet
- avoid pushing hard on stool
- wash your rectum after every stool
- try OTC hemorrhoid suppositories if yo have any bleeding or itching.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
This is not a cancer for sure.

Detailed Answer:
I can see all pictures. Its a hemorrhoid. Most likely it contains blood clot inside that is why it can be a little hard and painful. This is not a cancer for 100%. Start suppositories usage and it should get less visible (however it wont disappear).

ok susportries what will they do at the moment I'm using hydrocortisone - the small lump is like on the outside - or just before the entrance of the anus, so would the suppositories be better than the cream?
thankyou

Brief Answer:
Cream is fine as well.

Detailed Answer:
Suppositories would be as effective as correctly applied cream. Hydrocortisone can help. So you can continue with this cream.

Regards.
