Brief Answer:
less than 2%

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using healthcaremagic.

I read your question and understand your concerns.

There are around 1-2% chances of acquring hepatitis C from the described exposure. The most risky thing was use of her Razor.

If she used that Razor 24 or more hours back than you, risk is almost negligible.

The risk with sexual encounter is very low and it can be considered one in 200 which comes 0.5%.

Since you tested snd found negative but it is important to repeat the test after two three months.

Incubation period of hepatitis C is quite variable (2-26weeks) and you need repeat test to confirm absence pf hepatitic c in your body.

I hope this answers your question.

So even though there was somenlight blood in her vaginal secretion and me going down on her with a open sore below my lip that is still not a big concern?
If she cut herself while shaving and quickly rinced razor (you know how people stick it in water) and continued shaving , my chances are still greater?

Brief Answer:
still below 2%

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for reverting back to me.

As I said above the risk with some sexual encounter is still less as the virus is on very low concentration in sexual secretions. Sexual encounter without blood involvement have almost nill risk eith mucosal breatch risk is 0.5%.

She washed but simple water exposure do not kill any virus the risk is still there.

Regarding confirmation if possible you can go for PCR test of Viral RNA which can confirm presence/absence of virus in body within two weeks. It is more costly and have availability issues at small places. If you reside in a city and have proper indurance cover it is appropriate to opt for latest tests.

I hope this answers your query.
