Can Herpes Be Transmitted Through A Kiss On Sweaty Skin?

Question: I have kissed a women on her forehead and she had sweat on there. Is there a chance of getting oral herpes from that? She is not infected or no sores.
Brief Answer:
No chance of getting herpes.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query. I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
Herpes simplex virus (HSV1 and 2) can spread by oral or kiss or by skin to skin contact or sexual route. The chances are more when there are active lesions in the partner. As your partner is free from herpes you can almost be sure of not acquiring Herpes.
Sweat cannot spread without active virus in it .
You can expect any water filled lesions with pain or itching or burning sensation if you have been infected with herpes.and will appear usually within 2 weeks from exposure .
So allay fears of Herpes totally.
You can get back to me for any clarifications.
Thank you
Dr Bharatesh

Though it is initial lesion. It appears to be folliculitis .you can apply topical antibiotic like mupirocin or fucidin.
It may be due to shaving or trimming of hairs.

Brief Answer:
observe lesion.unlikely herpes as of now.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.
If it is herpes number of lesions will increase and may form like group.
So you can apply topical antibiotic and observe for 3 -5 days of its progress. If subsides by then it is folliculitis.
I do not for now feel it as herpes.
