Thanks for contacting the Homeopathic section of AYUS(H) and following is/are necessary guidelines:

1.If one is taking modern drugs for a very long time, then asking for sudden withdrawal can result in serious side effects (example in cases of high blood pressure, diabetes, hormonal problem,arthritis) to the patient(s) as such one either has to taper the drug very slowly or has to prescribe on the mixed symptoms occurring due to disease and the drugs.

2. It depends upon the disease, and do not start/stop any medicine without first consulting your attending physician. (do let me know for which pathology you want the same)
